Al managed the Stihl Oil Department of
Ahlborn Equipment, Inc. in Sayner, WI for several years. He then
went into real estate and managed Eliason Realty for several
years. He owns and operates Larson Bus Company (School Buses).
He sold the Northland Pines School route division to Schillman
Bus Service.

construction business for many years. He also operated a liquor

Anderson's Restaurant.

Milton Lazanski

Milton was well-known in the area as "Uncle
Milty." He was in the construction business and one of a few
left in this country with the knowledge of building authentic
Swedish-type log homes.

John Lester
Residency: Mid-1950's
John owned
and operated Johnny Lester's Tavern (Qualy's
Tavern) on Hwy 70 for many years.
He was a well-known musician and often played his accordion
nights at the bar. When he retired, he sold the tavern to
Ray
Weber
and moved to Florida.

Todd is a son of Carl Lindstrom and a brother to Terry. he
currently lives in Eau Claire and owns a tavern in Chippewa
Falls, WI.

George Lorentz
Residency: 1969

George was one of St.
Germain's most popular and effective town chairpersons
(1974-1988). Many innovations and advancements were made during
his tenure, including construction of the Community Building,
improvements to the ball park, the original shelter building,
and much more.
He owned and operated Eagle Crest
Campground on Found Lake. His father originally purchased the
land for the campground from
Obert Juve (Elder) in the
Mid-1940's. George and his wife, Gale Cook,
spent their summers here operating the campground for many years
before moving here permanently in 1969. George passed away one
day after his birthday in 1988.
